Woza Albert! is an anti-apartheid play - a fantasy of the consequences of a Second Coming to South Africa by "Morena", the Saviour. Woza means "rise up!" and Albert Street in Johannesburg was where passbooks were issued and Africans touted for work. The photos that follow were used in an international tour of the production by the Temba Theatre Company, as well as by the Leicester Haymarket Theatre.
