Blood Brothers by Willy Russell
Willy Russell's early hit John, Paul, George, Ringo and Bert, which transferred to the West End a week before Russell's 27th birthday, allowed him to give up his job as a teacher to devote himself to writing plays. These include Breezeblock Park, One for the Road (see later), Stags and Hens and Educating Rita.
